And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

2 Timothy 2:2

Senior Pastor

Rev. Ed Sears

"It is my belief that preaching and teaching the Word of God in an expository manner, anointed by the Spirit of God, will produce fruit in the life of the individual and make God’s eternal truths relevant to the hearer!"

Having graduating from Tennessee Temple University in 1977 with a degree in Theology I have always had a burning desire to pastor and shepherd people. The Lord has given me that privilege here for well over three decades. Being called “pastor” is one of the highest callings that any man can have. My goals for ministry are rather simple. Engage individuals in the study of Scriptures exhorting them to salvation and service in the church.

My life verse is I Corinthians 1:18  “ For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”

My wife, Linda, has been to me a loving and faithful companion in the journey that God has taken us on! We have been richly blessed with three wonderful daughters (Kelly, Millicent & Heather), three great sons-in-law and eight wonderful grand children.  CLICK HERE TO CONTACT

Executive Pastor

Rev. Ron Hawkins

"One of my great joys is seeing the change that occurs when members of Grace return from their mission trip with a transformed life!"

As Executive Pastor I spend a good amount of time involved in the “business side” of church ministry helping plan the strategy and focus of ministry for Grace Baptist. However, I delight in all the opportunities where I get to help individuals grow, develop and use their God-given gifts for the Lord’s work. I really enjoy the role of leading our mission program and seeing lives changed as a result of their participation in short-term mission trips. On top of that, I get to teach one of our Adult Bible Fellowship Classes. Awesome!

Pastoral Care & Outreach

Rev. Jim Bush

"My desire is that people feel welcomed and wanted as they visit our services. As people face physical challenges and medical procedures, it is my prayer that they feel the assurance of the Lord's presence as they place themselves in the hands of a physical caregiver. It is a privilege to encourage our Senior Adults as they face the challenges of aging."

My responsibilities include hospital visitation, funeral planning and officiating, and leading worship in the Wednesday service. I oversee our Seniors (DMA) ministry, nursing home ministry, medical response team and work directly with our security team, and ushers/greeters. I also teach one of our many Bible Fellowship Classes. CLICK HERE TO CONTACT

Pastor of Worship & Arts

Jeff Wylde

"We must never rest until everything inside us worships God." A. W. Tozer

I absolutely love what I do! As Worship Pastor, I enjoy the privilege of leading our congregation each week in corporate worship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I also spend a great deal of time with our musicians – the choir, orchestra, praise teams and youth choirs – prepping them for worship services. It is my desire to not only prepare them musically, but spiritually above all else. The music of the church is not about us or me. It’s about the One who gave Himself for me. It should all focus attention to Jesus Christ. The message of the music is the Gospel and it is a living word. It should change us and impact us deeply. I long to see our congregation moved by the Spirit of God as we join together in worship each week. This is one of the greatest joys in my life. CLICK HERE TO CONTACT

“If we are teaching kids the big story of the Bible (the Gospel) and helping them understand Gospel transformation rather than behavior modification, then we’re also giving them a solid understanding of how to share the Gospel with others.” - Brian Dembowczyk

My role as the Student Pastor here at GBC is to build into the lives of kids and youth a culture of Gospel transformation. This can be accomplished by being certain the students know that they matter and have relevant ministry opportunities; By showing them respect as we work on our lives as disciples of Jesus together in community and attempt to connect others in these areas.

My prayer is that I listen closely to God’s leading so that I can best lead the next generation up for Him. Contact me if you are interested in exploring one or all of our meeting times! CLICK HERE TO CONTACT
