"MUD" Making Unified Disciples

The MUD Exercise Program of Grace Baptist Church is a family friendly fitness program that actively participates in training for various 5k, 10k, and other competitive events for the glory of God. We use these events as both a spiritual and physical work-out.

Our main goal is to produce a healthy christian lifestyle in you and your family through fellowship & training. All ages and genders welcome. Children under the age of 18 "Muddy Buddies"will be required to be accompanied by their parents.

Every Monday @ 5:45pm at the GBC Campus for Physical Training.

TRAINING HAS STARTED AS OF JAN. 1ST, 2017!

wrapped in prayer

Quilting ministry

Wrapped In Prayer extends love, comfort, and prayers through the giving of a hand made prayer quilt to recipients with chronic illness or a severe life changing crisis in their lives. Through this ministry we hope to form a bond between GBC and the recipient that helps them know that a local church cares for them and their loved ones.

Recipients of a Prayer Quilt must meet the following criteria:

  • Chronically ill or have a severe crisis in their life
  • Submission of a "Wrapped In Prayer" request form. Forms are available at the information center

Each quilt is designed and selected based on gender and age. All materials are delicately cut, sewn by machine and hand pressed. Each tied-knot is specifically prayed over by the volunteers in this ministry and a staff pastor. This ministry also supports Brenner Children's Hospital by donating prayer quilts to hospitalized children. Newborns of the GBC family also receive prayer quilts in dedication of service to the Lord.

deacon care & outreach

keeping our deacons and our people connected.

Deacon care connects a deacon to a group of members that he is responsible to pray for, and interact with. If a group member is hospitalized, loses a family member, etc. , the deacon connects with the individual through visits, cards, calls, etc. Deacon care also connects with those who are widows, widowers, home bound, or in care facilities , through calls and visits.

If you know of a Grace member that has a physical, or spiritual need, or has suffered loss,

please let us know at contact@gbcws.com or call 336.788.8241

Our deacons are encouragers, supporters, and helpers.

We ask them to foster relationships with our members and their needs.
