A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Faith Baptist Church, 113 Foxboro Drive, Elizabeth City, NC 27909, with Pastor Bryan Pease officiating. The family will greet family and friends immediately following the service at the church.

A celebration of Lionel's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends the night prior, Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pastor Jim Bush officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM –
10:45 AM, prior to the funeral service. A private burial will take place at
Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
