Organize, Prep & Create

All year long

Ladies meet three days a week year-round to prepare and organize toys and activity kits. Their work includes dressing and accessorizing Barbies and baby dolls, making games, and sewing pencil pouches, activity sheet sets, play doh kits, vet kits, Barbie kits, puppet sets, marble sets, fishing kits, sewing kits, and more.

April • June • July • Create

Ladies gather at Grace Baptist to make 700 feminine pads, as well as marble bags, fishing bags, and pencil pouches. April 27th-28th 9-3 pm June 22nd-23rd 9-3 pm July 27th-28th 9-3 pm

September 20 • Boxing party in Brick House

On September 20th, Grace Baptist members are gathering in the Brick House for a shoebox prepping party from 4-7 pm

November 15 • CHURCH WIDE PACKING PARTY

On November 15h Grace Baptist will be hosting a shoebox packing party in the Chapel from 4-7pm. All are welcome to come and help!

December • Trip

A group will be traveling to Boone and/or Charlotte for OCC processing center to inspect boxes and celebrate where the boxes go. Date is to be determined.

🪡 Ladies who can cut fabric, trace, sew, pin layers, add buttons, etc.

🏷️ Individuals willing to take time to prep, fold and label boxes at boxing party

📦 Individuals willing to take time and package shoeboxes at packing party
